Position description

Mission & role of the function

To sell the clients Armouring products to the key defence vehicle manufacturers and body armour end users in UK , Europe and South East Asia. Could be currently working within a principals distribution network

Key Accountabilities

• Implement Sales Strategy

• Meet agreed sales targets

• Develop new sales relationships to increase business volume

• Identify and exploit business opportunities

• Bring in new customers while retaining existing ones

• Study the market to provide focused, well-researched forecasts that will support the company’s business planning

• Work with the Marketing and Engineering to ensure product development fits with market expectations

• Work with Marketing to support exhibitions and promotional activities

• Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry

• Set up Distribution network

Candidate requirements

  • Knowledge of the Defence market in Europe • Actively selling to Defence manufacturers in UK and Europe • Technically competent in survivability products or the potential to be trained. • Tenacious winner in the Defence Market • Innovative thinker • Interface with and motivate distributors HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Second Language Desirable.
